What’s effect does a driving offence (speeding) has on Naturalisation application

Post by kamsi » Sat Nov 25, 2023 4:15 pm

Hi,

I’m hoping to submit a naturalisation application in August 2024, sadly I was driving at 36 mph on a 30 mph road. I admitted liability and was given 3 points on my licence.

I wanted to find out how this would affect my naturalisation application next year.

Thank you.

Assuming this is your only offence, it won't.

You will need to declare it in the good character section, but it won't de a dealbreaker. Record all the details if you want to declare them in the cover letter.

Thank you. That’s the only offence.
