Hi Guys, my wife is up for ILR through the spouse route and she entered the UK on 29/12/2018 and I was wondering when does the 28 days discretion starts.
1. Does it start from the date entered into the UK?
2. Or does it start from the issue date of the initial entry visa into the UK?( Initial visa valid from 20/12/2018)

Hi guys,
My wife is up for ILR next month and I wanted to rely on cash savings to fulfil the Income requirement. So me and my wife hold savings in a fixed bond which is maturing this month, The bank will transfer these funds to a separate bank account once matured. So my query is that since the requirement is to show savings being held for more than 6 months, will immigration accept the fact funds were in fixed bond and are now in a separate account?

I was wondering which method will be easier, cash savings or Salaried income although I have worked less than 6 months with current employer, so I have to provide 12 month of payslips.

It is not about easy or hard. It is about which category you qualify under. The guide is clear what you need to provide under each category

It's fine, but it's a bit much. You have 9, you need 6. Not a problem regardless. 2022 -2023 should be fine.
No sin in failing, you just have to try and try again!

During filling the form following question are asked :
Do you own or rent your home?
Selected Neither own nor rent
Asks me to provide proof of property, copy of id and letter.
Then the following question is again asked
Do you currently live with parents, friends or family
rent-free?
Selected Yes
Asks me again to provide proof of property, copy of id and letter.
So in the documents check list proof of property, copy of id and letter now appear twice over?

So you may go ahead and repeat same evidence, not a problem.

When providing passport copies of the parents for accommodation purposes, is just the first photo page ok or do they require all pages in the passport like for applicant and sponsor?
Also there is a question on the form that asks how long you have lived in the UK, will answering 4 year 11 months be ok?
Thanks for the continuous support thus far appreciate it.

I need to apply today, this one question is confusing me.
What will you use to prove your degree taught in English?
1. Degree Certificate
2 Official transcript or letter
I have the assessment from ECCTIS, should I choose option 2 ?

I applied on 03 Dec 2023 using Super Priority and today did the Biometrics at 9:30am. However, its like 4:30pm now and haven't even received Acknowledgement email. Is this the normal proceedings under super priority?
