Spouse Visa Questions

Hello,

Me and my wife will be applying for a spouse visa soon to bring her here. We're planning to go for the Category A of the spouse visa route. My questions are;

- I need to provide 6 payslips. Since Im in a salaried employment (NHS) they will use my lowest wage out of those 6 payslips and multiply it by 12 Right??
Do they look at how much I've earned (Gross wise) or (net wise)?

Because my lowest payslip so far has a Gross income of £1580 and after taxes my takehome pay is only £1460. Its lower than other payslip because this was during my hospital training so we got paid less. However my average net income on my other payslip are 1.7k to 1.9k.

If anyone can answer this I would really be grateful. Thank you!!!
