FLR(DL) 10 years completed

Post by Toya » Sun Dec 24, 2023 1:21 am

Hello,
I have a question to apply for ILR. I was granted discretionary leave on 03/12/2013.
I completed my 10 years continuous residence.
My question is which form to use from FLR(DL) to ILR ?
Can I use Set(LR) or not.
I’m really confused about it.
Can someone please give me some advice.

If your asylum claim was refused and you had been given discretionary leave, you can apply using form FLR(DL). You may also apply under long residence using form SET(LR)

Thank you zimba,
I appreciate you taking time to respond.
This was my confusion. It looks like I can use form FLR(DL) settlement or SET(LR).
I did both LIUT and B1 test.
Which form is more straight forward to fill and supporting documents wise?
I did not hold any passport between 2010-2017. Do I have to have expired passports 10 years continues. Do I have to explain why I did not hold any passport between that time.
Thank you in advance.

The choice is yours. You can apply under both routes
