I was wondering whether medical cost (NHS) specially the prescription prescribed by the GPs for following is a public benefit:
1) Kids - If you have a kid < 16 year there is no need to pay for the medical prescription (for actual medicines). I think this is simialr like on tube or busses the kids dont have to pay the fare but not sure about the medical cost.
2) Maternity Exemption Certificate - during pergnancy and after one year of birth of baby the prescription for the ladies is also free. Is this would be a public fund?
Can some one please share there experience.
