Cos amendment

I have been given cos but my employer who agreed to sponsor me filled "No" for the financial certification. I have been in the country for more than a year but my dependants haven't. Now it's affecting my visa application as the required proof of fund is not up to 28days in my bank account and my visa expires next week. Please is this a minor amendment that sponsor note can take care of? Because I intend to go to my employer again but I'm scared because I do not have time again.
