Work Visa as a Brick layer and Gas Engineer Course

Hi,

If someone has got work visa Brick Layer. Can he do gas Engineer course? It boiler repair and installation course. If someone does this course. He has to give his National Insurance number for this course to accreditation body and Gas Safe.

Additional training is allowed as is development of your trade skill set. The issue is undertaking gas engineer work, that is outside your job role so you are unable to work using your new skill set unless you get a new COS.
