Can I gift money to my wife and she trade through ISA shares account

Hi Team,

I am on a tier 2 visa and would like to know if I can gift £10000 to my wife so that she can start trading creating her own shares and isa account.

She is not employed currently.

Assuming she is your dependent and holds a SW dependent visa she is free to do any job - except as a sportsperson or trainer.

You can give away your money to her or anyone else you want.
