Payslip Enquiry

Post by SkyRoboPrime » Thu Jan 25, 2024 12:55 pm

Hello,

My wife recently got worried about my lowest payslip and we are planning to pass our application on Feb 7. What she is worried about is in my payslip I have the

Basic Pay:£1504
Gross/Pensionable Pay: £1584 (£80 add due to Fringe pay)
Net Pay: £1420

Im aware that the HO will not use the net profit as their calculation but she is worried about the basic pay. Since the Gross pay is my basic pay + fringe pay if they take that into account then I earn past the income threshold however is there any chance the HO's might use the basic pay instead to calculate if I met the threshold requirement?

Thank you!

Is the gross pay of £1584 consistent over the period of preceeding 6months?
If yes you will be alright.

No actually in the preceeding months it gets higher as my "Basic Pay" is £1865.25 not including any fringe pay, incentive pay etc. For the following months these are my earnings at gross/pensionable value;

Sept: £1.7k
Oct: £1.9k
Nov: £1.8k
Dec: £1.8k

The reason my August pay was much lower was because this was my Supernumerary/training month so I got paid less because the company was recompensated for training me. However after that from Sept to Jan pays have all the same basic pay of £1865.25

Hello everyone I hope you are well,

Me and my wife will be passing our application very soon and as such I was hoping that you guys can have a look at what we are planning to pass. Do you think this is enough documents? or are we still missing some other documents that you guys think could add strength to our application?

Also I wanted to ask you guys in my Payslip it say my salary is 22,383 per annum but in my COE it states that it is 23,575 because it is inclusive of the 5% High cost area supplement. Is it safe to assume to put the 23,575 as my declared salary per annum instead of the 22,383?

And is it okay to write up different letter for my support as a sponsor and for my employment. Or is it better to just write one cover letter?

Any help you guys can give me will be greatly appreciated. Thank you!!
