It's only just over 2 months since you submitted.
The UKVI target for nationality applications is 6 months to completion, generally it's a bit faster, sometime a bit longer, even some a year or more longer .... You won't get any progress updates, only standard emails referring you to the 6 months target.

Been only a few weeks since you submitted with the winter holidays in between as well. Need to be patient and wait for now - following up before 6 months will only get you automated emails.

Do I have to calculate since submission or since the finger prints because there's 4weeks gap between the two

There isn’t a formula for this. Just wait six months. You might just get it faster than six months.

From the timeline thread, it does seem like Oct applications are moving. Most likely our Nov applicants are next, average processing time is 3 to 4 months from the date of application. Better just distract yourself and not to overthink about it. I have been waiting for my ILR previously for more than 6 months, I know the frustration.

Neutralisation - I think the Daleks deal with this.

But seriously... I'm watching the timelines and although there's clear variation in timelines and some are taking longer than is typical... you're looking at around 3.5 months from application date to approval. As above... at the moment those applications of early/mid October are reporting approvals so if I were a betting man I'd say another month is the sort of time you might see some action.

Received the reply from FNE on 8th Feb said that my biometric information has been successfully received and my application is in a queue awaiting allocation to a case working team upon requested. Emailed them just to make sure there won't be biometric issue. They probably just started to look at Nov application till now.

We don't know the inner workings of the HO, good you got this acknowledgement, and hopefully you get your approval soon. If not, you can start chasing after the 6 months processing time has elapsed.

The first timelines for approved early November 2023 applications were posted earlier today in the relevant thread which is perhaps where you'll be best served for timeline info. This fits with most recent approvals shifting to mid to late October applications.

Just wondering, since it's highly unlikely to hear from HO today, is there still a possibility I will hear from them for the rest of the week, or will they remain completely quiet since the timeline suggests they only send approval emails on Mondays?"

Difficult to know. you are still within the six months processing time, so you need to wait.

Congratulations. You need to monitor your inbox for the official approval email, but hopefully that will be with you soon.
