I am sorry your application is taking longer than expected. As you may be aware, the approval of a British citizenship application is not an automatic process. We must make a number of enquiries to ensure that applicants satisfy statutory requirements of the British Nationality Act 1981 and the policy which governs decisions taking using this Act. I emailed furthernationalityenquiries@homeoffice.gov.uk on the 29/01/2024 at 9am as I saw people who submitted around the same time I did have received their email. A couple of hours later they sent me the approval email. It might be a good idea to give them a nudge if you have been waiting for longer than 3,5 months.
