hey dear member

my friend applied spouse visa for his wife from pakistan. he is british . he just received email from vfs global saying that the passport is ready for collection. he did not receive any other email by UKVI for the decision of approval or refusal.
what does it mean ? has anybody got similar experience want to share his experience

It means what it says: come collect the passport.
May receive decision email later or not. It may be in hardcopy in envelope. Anyway your friend's wife should go for collection of the ready passport.

thanks soo much this forum is really helpful, today got email as well for the visa approval. just last question as we know that income threshold is going up so on extension of british spouse visa we have to show 18600 or it will be like 29000 or more ?

Too early to tell. It would become much clearer when the rules are enforced. There are still many grey areas, your guess is as good as anyone else.

Depends on the rules in place at time of extension, that's still over 2 years in the future.

i am just going to update there in timeline post to help others. anyway applied on priority biometric was on 16 jan 2024
