Thank you, but then how should I answer the question "Where did you first arrive in the UK?" - because I was already in the UK, just relocated to a new city to start my job on T2 visa.
Entry date isn't really an issue - haven't seen anyone reporting it.
Thanks, its not the date question which bothers me but the questions around it like (1) Where did I enter UK when I was already here. (2) Do I need to give 13 years of absence history?. (3) Could the answer contradict the answer in ILR?alterhase58 wrote: ↑Sun Feb 11, 2024 9:56 amEntry date isn't really an issue - haven't seen anyone reporting it.
You only have to provide your absences during the qualifying period. You entered the UK 13 years ago, and are using the last 5 years as qualifying period, no overthinking needed.ktyagi wrote: ↑Sun Feb 11, 2024 10:04 amThanks, its not the date question which bothers me but the questions around it like (1) Where did I enter UK when I was already here. It will be straightforward for the folks who come here on work visa and then move to ILR/Citizenship. But am sure at least a few would have their immigration journey similar to mine.
It is not a deal breaker and no contradiction.ktyagi wrote: ↑Sun Feb 11, 2024 10:04 amThanks, its not the date question which bothers me but the questions around it like (1) Where did I enter UK when I was already here.
