Name change after naturalisation

I want to apply for a name change before applying for my British passport. Please can someone advise on how to do this. I'm thinking

I’m planning to follow this order.
1. Apply for naturalisation in my previous name
2.Change name through deed poll after getting the naturalisation certificate
3. Cancel the foreign passport
4 . Apply for British passport using new name.

Will that work?

If you want to keep your other passport you will need to get the name changed there too.

I won't be keeping my other passport which is indian.
Has anyone gone through this process
