Can you combine 2 non-salaried jobs under Category A?

Hi,

Just wondering if I can combine 2 of my zero hour contract jobs and apply under Category A? I would show 6 months wage and payslips when I apply on July 2024. With updates to my shift, I am unlikely to have any gaps in my employment in the next 6 months from January 2024.

You can use income from working two jobs. As you have pointed out they will need to be for six months duration

I think the crucial question is, can you combine income from two zero-hour, variable income jobs under Category A?

Zero hour contracts are no different from agency contracts. The lack of guaranteed salary is overtaken by the earnings achieved over the measured period.

Thanks for your response. Glad to find out that I can use my two zero hour contract jobs to combine and apply for my wife's ILR under Category A (provided that there are no gaps in pay and it's 6 months continous payslips from january 2024 to June/July 2024).

Hopefully, this way would work.
