You still can put all your queries related to the same visa type on this post, no need for a second one. You just need to be clear or more specific on what you want to ask and avoid mixing up things!

That "after 6 months" is related to what? her last visit to the UK? visa expiry date? In any case, for another visa she only need to apply in the same way she successfully did for the previous one. The timing is irrelevant, many people holding visitor visas visit the UK every year with no issues, as long as the visitor can demonstrate that they're not using a visitor visa as a guise to live in the UK, i.e. spending more time here than in the home country or elsewhere.

And did she state in her last visa application that she plans to visit for 5 months? If not, it might be held against her.

That could be a reason for refusal. She stated that she would stay 4 months, stayed 5 months, and now wants to come within 6 months again for the Summer? Huge red flags here. She would in effect, be spending more time in the U.K. than in her home country. If she can spend so much time away from her home country, the question would be what ties does she have to her home country.

There is no specific time gap, but the visitor should not be spending more time in the U.K. than in their home country. When you apply for a visit visa, you have to show the ties to the home country. Staying in the U.K. for such long periods, undermines those reasons. Another problem you have is that you stated the person would stay 4 months, but they then stayed 5 months. Such long stays are not seen as visits, but as a way of residing here. Future visas could be refused if that pattern continues.
