Ceremony and travelling

Post by VirtualWaver » Mon Feb 19, 2024 10:58 am

Hi All,

Hope you are doing well today.

I received my naturalisation approval email and now need to book a slot for ceremony. Can I travel abroad with my ILR before attending the ceremony (so lets say I book it for 15 March, can I travel abroad and return before 15 Mar)? Thanks.

Yes.

You are only british, and ilr void, once you attend the ceremony.
