Naturalization for British Spouse Time period calc

Hi all,

I have a question if someone can clarify please. I am a British citizen my wife is on a spouse visa.

After ILR does she need to wait 12 months to apply for Naturalization or can she apply right after the ILR approval?

She becomes eligible the day she gets her ILR. Of course there are also other requirements she needs to meet.

She can apply right after getting ILR.... she is exempted from the normal 12 months wait as she is married to a British citizen.

Yes - for the residency period of 3 years.
