Can I apply for Naturalisation now?

I just received my approval letter for permanent residency (EUTR3). I won’t get the new permanent residence card until I see an immigration officer on the 28th of April. However, I also know that I already qualify to apply for naturalisation. My question is (if anyone knows for certain), can I apply for citizenship by naturalisation online now? Will I need any information from the new permanent residence card to be able to complete the naturalisation application? Thanks in advance for any help.

At a minimum, you will likely need the new card number as part of the application process.

I didn’t see it in your post but also didn’t ask in my response; do you have a current in date IRP card? If so, just apply under that one if it’s not yet expired.

There is and no it hasn’t expired yet. I have until end of June this year.

Then I’d say go ahead and start the application if you’re already eligible. It’s certainly not the fastest (or most transparent) process, so you can use all the extra time available to you.
