I am planning to apply on 29/12 for my wife ... I still have some doubts regarding the VAF10 form which we fill for Dependant
I have few questions related to Main applicant in the VAF 10 Form.(Page No:5 Part 7)
s i am appyling a dependant visa for my wife.. I had already got the Tier1 General visa. we need to show maintenance fund as 4400 GBP(2800+ 1600)As I understood you are applying for your dependant. I would like to know what is the maintenance that you are showing? is it only 1600 or 2800+1600 pounds?
I am exactly in the same situation. Thanks for guidance.sv23367 wrote:s i am appyling a dependant visa for my wife.. I had already got the Tier1 General visa. we need to show maintenance fund as 4400 GBP(2800+ 1600)
Thanks very much, very useful information.sv23367 wrote:1) VAF 10
2) Spouse passport
3) My bank statement for last 15 months highlighting the last 3 months statement for Maintenance fund.(4400 GBP)
4)Bank certificate for the maintenance fund.
5) My Marriage Registration Certificate
6) Full Copy of my passport showing the visa details
7) Covering Letter
Sponshor ship letter from husband
9) Accomodation proof for both of us(VFS people r insisting on this)
10) A photo copy set of all the above
11). My marriage photos
12) Spouse passport size photo
13) DD for visa fees 48K
Along with these , i hv separately kept all the documents which i have submitted for my application.( just for safety reasons.. even though we dont need this .VFS people r insisting)
This is my list and hope it will be useful.
Shall we call it a money making business?letmec2006 wrote:It is absolutely ridiculous, that when dependants apply separate have to pay 48000 Rs. They are not doing any points calculation, they just check documents like workpermit/ HSMP dependant or any other dependant like PSW visas.
I cant get my head around why we are paying 48K, BHC gaining quiet a lot out of us during the economic downturn.

I am applying as a dependant of my husband sometime next week, not yet confirmed an appointment but i have put the same papers as above. My husband is showing maintenance funds in his account for me.
Do you have any idea on processing times as it took him 2months but i would like to join him asap. he is currently in london desperately looking for a job. the job market there is real bad, i hope him not having a job doesnt affect my application. he went to uk in december an from 15th december most of the people were on holiday so no jobs.
can anybody advise.
cheers

No. of dependents: 0
Is this the general case in the above given situation or is it going to create problem when I apply for my wife's visa.
