So what did you put in the online application for liuk question?

When is your biometric appointment?

Why have you left it so late to do the test?

What visa category are you applying for ilr?

Liuk has been mandatory for more than 10 years.

As you have done biometrics, how will you update ukvi? They do not have to accept late submission of documents as it is your responsibility to ensure you meet the requirements.

You risk your ilr being refused.

Ukcvas is a third party agent for biomtric enrolment. They are not ukvi staff and are not there to tell you what is missing etc. They are not immigration advisors.

It is your responsibility to make sure you meet all the requirements and have all the documents.

On this note, what will happen if ILR is refused ? can he/she apply again or that's the end of it.
Its not abut me but in general scenario I would like to know the next steps.

Thanks

A lot depends on when their visa expires and what visa category they are on. The poster hasn't said what visa category they are on and only said they used form SET(O) which covers many visa routes.

If ILR is refused, that does NOT mean 'the end of it' no.

No refund if you apply for ilr

https://www.gov.uk/healthcare-immigrati ... on/refunds
You will not get a refund if:

your visa application is successful but you do not come to the UK
you leave the UK before your visa ends, for example to make a new application
you’re told to leave the UK before your visa expires
you’re applying for indefinite leave to remain

There is a common misconception that somehow IHS refund should be given if you apply for ILR. IHS is paid when applying for a visa so it should cover the whole visa period. The fact that someone wants to switch or apply for ILR does NOT entitle them to reclaim any IHS because they have some visa left.

No IHS refund will ever be given after a visa was granted successfully for that period :!:

There is no appeal right for skilled workers applying for ilr. You would only have the option of administrative review which is if you believe UKVI made an error.
