OCI Process - Juridiction matters?

Hello Everyone,

I am seeking an advice regarding the appointment/s booking at London Goswell for Surrender/renunciation and OCI application submission. The place I live comes under 'Staddfordshire' county. From what I read from the VFS website , I will have to book the appointment at Birmingham VFS/CGI ? Since the juridiction falls under this one ? Is that right ? I was able to find appointments for 'surrender' application at Birmingham VFS. But for 'renunciation/OCI' , there are no available appointment at Birmingham CGI untill May and i have booked to travel to India in July. So my question is can I book the respective appointments i.e., surrender / renunciation & OCI at London Goswell CGI instead of Birmingham CGI ? Given that when I register , I do it under 'London' ? Assuming it will take two days to wrap up. I will be staying at my friends in London. Is there any chance that my application will be returned if they see my address being under staddforshire county ? Anyone who has tried & applied successfully please share the experience ?
