Mistake in Citizenship Application

Post by Shahno » Wed Mar 27, 2024 8:31 am

Hi everyone,

I'm in the process of applying for my citizenship. Last night I submitted the application then I discovered a mistake in the application. In the following question:
"Do you have any dependants not applying with you this time?"
By mistake I answered No. I have 2 children both are British. I still have to book my biometrics and upload my documents

My question is can I upload a cover letter explaining that mistake and upload my children's passports and birth certificates? Instead of going through the agony of a refund with the UKVI?

Your help is really appreciated

Thank you

Just explain in a cover note and upload before biometrics - you won't need to supply passports or birth certificates.

You wouldn’t get refused on this error.
