12 Dec - Fri - Ref letter PB326... sent to me
12 Dec - Fri - Charged CC
16 Dec - Tue - Received confirm letter
16 Dec - Tue - CC statement shows charge

Congratulations and Good luck for UK assignments.

Can u pls let me know where did u apply for visa - was it at VFS North office or South Mumbai office.

How long time it has been taken to get your visa ? Did u got any call from BHC regarding the approval ? Any verifications done in your case ?

Pls share your experiences.

Hi All,

I checked my application status in vfs site, it show
Application processed delivered to Bluedart

Based on this, can we know the decision of BHC ? Applied on Dec 05 th.

No. The same status is displayed for both successful and rejected applications. All the best.

R053992, I guess our passports will be issued on the same day as we both applied on 8/12/08 and that too from Mumbai VFS. As of now the status is Application fwd to BHC. Good luck to us too !!

I guess our applications will be decided on monday or tuesday, if we go by sureshep's timeline. We have applied on the very next working day as compared to sureshep. Lets see...

Hi All,

I just received my passport with Tier 1 (general) visa with stamping. Valid from 18th Dec 2008 to 18th Dec 2011.

Applied at VFS Blore on Dec 5th.
Received Stamped passport on Dec 24th.
Valid for 3 years.

I had applied T1G on 08/12/08 from chennai.

I tried contacting for visa status by mailing at
Chennai.VisaEnquiry@fco.co.uk

but i get my mails bounced back.

Did any one from chennai tried using this mail id, or is there any other alternative mail id where i can know my status immediately.

Kindly let me know asap.

I got my visa stamped, collected from VFS chennai on 30th.

I believe they are post dating the visa for 3 months only.
I had applied on 8th Dec and mentioned my travel date in may, but the visa has been granted from march. so probably if the travel date is more than 3 months they are taking the least it seems.
