UK Spouse visa application before 11th April 2024

Hi guys

My brother needs to apply for his wife's visa and he is in a bit of panic as the rules for higher income requirement are coming to force on 11th April 2024.

So I have been helping him get documents in order and would like to known if Home office will accept a English test A1 passed after the date of application. His wife is doing the test on 10th April 2024 and he is hopeful she will pass and the certificate will have the 10th April 2024 date. However, should she fail the test and resit, would UKVI accept a test certificate dated after the date of application.
