Child British Cirizenship

Post by reetisrivastava » Sat Apr 20, 2024 10:22 am

HI Team,
I have one query regarding my daughter's naturalisation, can you please help me to suggest the path? do we need to fill Form MN1 or Form AN?

PFB details-
Daughter Age -                                 16th year
duration in UK - from aug 2010
immigration status -   ILR using 10 year route and ILR issued in jan 2021 ("Settled status")
Born   - In India
Parent VIsa status - ILR (nationality Indian)

I could not find under mn1 guidelines, if my daughter have ILR and non EU/EEA. and one of my teammates said , one parent should be a British citizen and ILR will not be sufficient.

Regards,
Rs

If you are a British citizen and your spouse has ILR that will be fine.

How long has the child been in the UK?

If the child has been in the UK for more than 10 years, then yes.
