applying from germany

Post by k.madhav » Sun Nov 02, 2008 11:54 am

Hi,

I am also an Indian, currently working in Germany in work permit visa.
I also plaaned applying for Tire1, but found one issue.

The original passport have to be submitted with the application. The approval delay in the worst case may take 3 months. So living in Germany without passport is risky.

Do you alredy thoght about this issue and have a solution?

Regards
Madhav

I don't think approval will 3 months because of no. of applicants applying from Germany would be too low. If you take my words then it will not take more than 4 weeks to process your visa.

Doesn't Germany issue a local resident card/permit in German language?

Job opportunities... everyone knows about current recession. Do you still have any doubt about the situation in UK?

If I was u then I would plann to apply after 6 months and enter UK after 9 months from now!

application from germany..

Hi guys,

I am an Indian working in Germany and willing to apply for Tier1 General. I have a few queries though.
1) I meet all the salary requirements and going to submit my salary slips and all other required documents. But, I do not want the embassy people to contact my employer, as I dont want my employer to know before I am through with the process, which I guess is understandable. The question is what are the chances that they contact the employer?
2) It is written in the policy guidance that the pay slips should be on the letter head of the company, but in my case the original pay slips are not on the letter head of the company as some private tax company does our accounts. And as mentioned before, I dont want my employer to know so I dont want to get stamp and signature on the salary slips by the employer. any work around for this situation?
3) finally normally how long does it take for visa processing from germany?

2. For signing on the salary slip, you can tell another reason like "getting bank loan from India".
