Citizenship ceremony

Post by bobcat » Mon Apr 29, 2024 10:37 pm

I received approval to naturalise today. I was looking to book citizenship ceremony in early May but the earliest private ceremony slot I see in my council is in late May. I don’t think I can change council now but is there any way to bring the ceremony forward? I need to travel mid June and would like to sort my passport before then.

It's between you and your council.

Call them and see what they can offer you, if anything.

Just an update- I kept checking the slots early morning and saw few up for grabs. Not sure if every council does it this way but would suggest to keep checking for the slots early morning. Thanks
