How to determine I have been Living lawfully in Uk

Hello everyone would someone please help me out,I have been living in UK for almost 8 years,My husband is British and all my 5 kids are British as well .

I have been living here with no residence card,so my question.I would like to know if iam considered living here lawfully or not please thanks alot

How did you enter the UK, with what visa?

What visa application have you made in 8 years??

If you haven't made any, then no you are not a legal resident and are in the UK illegal as an overstayer.
