Two months absence after receiving BRPs with permission of employer

Post by helpmehelpall » Mon Jun 03, 2024 8:18 am

Dear mates,

one of my colleague had got a job in UK, reported here, collected his BRPs and then with the permission of his employer he traveled back to his country for completing his notice period of 2 months, his notice period is about to finish and he would finally be joining his job in UK.

since he is not here so his salary has not yet started from employer side, would there be any impact because his payroll would be activated when he would be back to work alomost after 2 & half months?

would he be required to present some letter to immigration officer when entering back UK?

is such matter ok, means traveling back to complete his notice period of his previous employer and due to his absence his payroll not yet started..

is his employer required to update anywhere or update anything on his visa of CoS or SMS?

kindly advise @moderators and forum experts

thnx

Employer should have updated SMS to advise of new start date. The salary not being paid is a secondary issue and is not a problem as long as the start date is changed.

Thanks Bro,

That means he has to request his sponsor to change his start date in the SMS

Could it done / updated in the SMS after this long time --- means after 2 & half months

Appreciate your sincere advise

Thanks
