ILR for UK born Child

My husband is on skilled worker visa. Me and our 2 children are on dependent visa. One of my child is UK born. We will be eligible for ILR in Nov 2024. My question is for UK born child(born in Aug 2022). Do we need to apply for ILR for UK born child or we can directly apply for citizenship after rest of the family got ILR?

A UK-born child does not need ILR or even a valid visa. They can be registered as British using form MN1, once just a parent becomes settled

Yes, having a foreign passport doesn't change the child's entitlement to register as British?!
