when we should leave for UK after HSMP Visa Stamping

Hi friends,
I need your help in understanding.....logically when we should leave for UK after getting the HSMP visa stamping.....immediately ? or we can spend time in searching a job from here (for say....2 or 3 months) and then visit UK.

Whether this lose of 2 or 3 months affects our HSMP extension after 3 years.....?

i think its very tricky to understand this......and experience friends can help us to understand this better..
