Can I apply ILR without a job

Post by smallichai » Sun Jun 23, 2024 5:34 am

Hi,
Complex Situation

I have been made redundant 6months back and still don't have a job. I have not recived my curtailment letter yet and I am now eligible for ILR.

What can be done here?

Can I apply for ILR?

If I get a job now and then apply for ILR is there a problem with the gap of 6months ?

You need to find a job with another sponsor and get a new visa or leave the UK.
Can I apply for ILR?
No you cannot. For ilr as a Skilled Worker Visa holder, you have to be employed by a sponsor and have at least one month's payslip and bank statement.

The gap is mot an issue.

How have you been supporting yourself financially??

No.

SW 24.2.
The sponsor must confirm that they still require the applicant to work for them for the foreseeable future, and that the applicant is paid, and will be paid for the foreseeable future, at least the salary in SW 24.3.
fails.
