OCI applied with RC payment Receipt

Hello ,

I applied for OCI showing the payment receipt for renunciation. I did not wait until the Renunciation certificate arrived to save time.

My question is

1- Once I receive the Renunciation certificate I guess i need to send this to process by OCI , where should I send it to the High Commission of India or VFS?
2- Please can you let me know the email id where I need to submit it.

Hi,

I have a surrender certificate and have an appointment at VFS Goswell, London, for renunciation on the 29th may. Since I already have an appointment booked, I cannot book one for OCI.

Could you please confirm if I can have both the renunciation and OCI applications together during my renunciation appointment at the Goswell, London branch? Or do I need to book two separate appointments?

Also, could you let me know what documents are required for the renunciation appointment?

Hi , I am applying for OCI while my renunciation application is still under process. I have paid for renunciation application online 8000rs separately from India. And, 26.44£ paid at VFS for other service charge plus courier charges.

Which payment recipient number do I need to use for OCI application. MHA receipt number or VFS ref no starts with GBRLxxxx ?
Please advise .

I paid online to MHA how do I get a payment receipt? Receipt from your email and Indian bank statement to prove your payment

Chalk it up to the extremely useless and inconsitent 1990s Geocities style interfaces the consulate uses.
I struggled to find this too.
1. Go to their page https://indiancitizenshiponline.nic.in/Renounce/
2. Click on "Print Application"
3. Log-in with the relevant details
4. This will put you on the process timeline at Step 5.
5. In the process timeline "1-2-3-4-5-6", click on "6"
6. You will see payment details and you can print that.
