I think you can still work until you get decision or it changes that you don't have right to work

Yes you have permission to work as you have the same rights as before the application. Its easier for those that were already working, in my view, compared to those applying for new job. However you have what they call Immigration 3C Leave

The waiting is hard, are you on 10 year route? and did you apply for fee waiver too? I applied for fee waiver for first renewal on 10 year route. No response yet. I applied fee waiver on 5 dec 2023....

Yes I applied fee waiver and was granted in Feb 2023. Had biometrics in March and submitted the application in March 2023. Nothing ever since then

Have you contacted the home office since it’s been over the twelve month period ? , this really disheartening:( I’ve been waiting since August 2023 and no fee waiver it’s really frustrating to see they do not keep to their time line

Congratulations.
Sorry for what happened to you.

I have just received my biometric card today it's valid till 31/ 12//2024.
I heard that from that day HO won't be issuing biometric cards anymore just Evisa to be assessed online. I have not received the email about Evisa yet I'm sure they will send it soon.

Could that be the reason anyone else who knows about this?
