Personally I find a regular post super helpful! Coz otherwise just sitting wondering - and mainly worried that once people get the cert through you'll forget about the rest of us still waiting
Seconded! 😅 Also, it will keep the topic 'trending' so that people see it at the top and therefore won't start a similar one.
Respectfully, I do not agree. This is a forum, not a diary. This is a platform to share information and updates. So unless you have something meaningful to share, please don't. If hundreds of us come here every day and post updates we actually don’t have (and the above post owner posted 2 hours apart!), it’s called spamming. Then important information is lost in between. We are all in the same boat here, coming to the forum and this topic every day, and when I see an update, I get excited. But what do I see? They didn’t receive the certificate today, like the rest of us. If the topic is quiet, that’s not a problem; it means there is no update yet. We’ll wait patiently and hope to have a meaningful update in this topic very soon!

IMHO the very update that confirms something does not yet happen does mean valuable information. Well, at least to me it is yet I fully understand that there may be other people that don't.

When you don't see any new post here at all you assume that other people don't receive anything. It is very much a different case if you see people posting messages saying they haven't received anything. I'm not saying that it's helpful to have too frequently hey-i-havent-received-anything posts, yet I guess that people may not have the same opinion on what's too frequent so I'd not complain anyway.

Instead of asking for updates here would it be a better idea for us to ask our TD to question the Minister of Justice? If I remember rightly she did say that they had resolved the problem leading to printing delays. Whether or not the Minister of Justice is giving truthful answers I think it is worth raising the questions so that it is on record that delays have not been rectified.

Thanks for that. I find it infuriating when the Minster of justice says "I am aware that following some previous ceremonies there were delays in certificates being received" as though the problems are historic when we know that they are current. The waffle "within the next few weeks" does not help either. A few weeks probably means 2 months. :(
