Visit Visa documents suggestions for Mother-in-law and dependent Brother-in-law applying from Bangladesh

Post by atikur » Sat May 11, 2024 9:04 pm

Hi,

We all are British Citizebn here (me,wife and two kids) living in a FOUR bedroom house. We had been planning to apply for visit visa for my mother-in-law and Brother-in-law (university student, Dhaka, Bangladesh) as my father -in-law passed away long time ago.

Could anybody suggestd me any document checklist please. My mother-in-law owns a six storey building (West Nakhalpara) and also a flat somewhere in UttorKhan, Dhaka. she has some cultivation lands in the village (Barishal) which are leased out and get some yearly income from them.

My Brother-in-law is having his semester (BBA private Uni) ending on 6th June and we are planning them to apply on10th June. His next semester will be starting whenever he wants.

Please advise me what documents I should prepare for them.

Thank you in advance.

Straight off the bat, the odds of a dependent single young male (your brother in law) getting a visit visa are close to nil, especially when

Hi,

Just updating my post..My mother-in-law and Bother-in-law both got the Visa from Bangladesh. They had their biometrics done on 13th June 2024 and received emails to colelct the passports yesterday (7th July 2024). Visa started from 1st July 2024 and ending 1st January 2025.
I was very doubtful about my brother-in-law's visa who is a university student. But by the grace of Almighty Allah, his Visa was successful.

But by the grace of Almighty Allah, his Visa was successful.
Congratulations.

Most definitely. I prepared both files myself and suplied ample evidence to convenience caseworkers that they will return home. In statement I pointed out with bullet points why he/they will return home after the visit..Well, caseworker could have easily refused as they are given right to refuse without any reason. Thanks God.
