Please note: I spent 496 days in total outside the UK in 5 years without crossing the 180 days limit (working from home with employer permission) . Also, I got a new job with the same employer with a different SOC before I applied for my ILR. I was advised to apply for skilled worker visa but still I decided to proceed with my ILR as there is believed you just need a letter from employer stating that you are still needed for the work and your pay is appropriate.

16 weeks 3 days from application; 14 weeks 3 days from biometrics. A 5yr process that sadly took us 8 years due to Home Office incompetence - although shafting them in our appeal in 2018 was a wonderful moment.
