Thanks Leo & Inek.

It may well be that an NI address is OK but they haven’t replied yet. I do hope they actually received my email.

We live in France and it was I who suggested they send it to my family in NI in reply to their email saying that, since printing had been outsourced, they couldn't post internationally.

Will keep you updated!

I received the first email about them not being able to post internationally yesterday evening.

I replied immediately. Then shortly afterwards received another email from a different lady on the same team, saying my reply email had been blank.

So I created a whole new email (rather than just pressing “reply”) and sent that.

I do hope they were able to read this latest one.

Panic over.

They’ve just replied, saying an NI address is OK.

Sorry, I was so excited I didn’t ask them when we could expect it.
I have a feeling it’s going to be quite soon.

I got a response about timeline for sending out certs. I was reassured it will be received in 2 weeks. And they no longer print out certs, it is now outsourced.

Good day all,

Another week no cert yet.

Let’s wait and see by the end of the month.

Stay blessed all,

Receiving the cert in two weeks would be no less than a miracle!

My IRP is due to renewal by end of Aug. I've written multiple emails to GNIB, Citizenship Info, DoJ but haven't received any response yet. So, I've contacted my TD and he's written to the minister for an update. No hope there-as the minister's been giving the same response to any questions raised regarding the naturalisation process at the dail. At least, he's trying.

Anyone else in the same situation--attended the citizenship ceremony and due for IRP renewal?

You don't need to renew irp, one of the td asked this to justice minister and she told no need to renew it.

Could you post the email below, particularly the line stating that you will receive the certificate in two weeks, as I received an email last week advising that the certificates had not yet begun printing.

Mine is expiring in 2 days and i sent an email to the citizenship HD and they got back with the following:

"Please show this email to your employer stating that you are an Irish citizen and you are just awaiting your certificate of naturalisation."

I saw this one, but there's no mention of two weeks. She also stated that the certificates are being printed, but the citizenship HD sent me an email last week informing me that the printing had not yet begun and that we would receive the certificates in due course:

"This office no longer prints certificates, this is now outsourced. Printing of certificates has not yet commenced but will be issued to you via registered post in due course."

That's why I am curious about the exact wording.

Show your employer this. And the question asked to her is the same asked by you. If your employer still wants it. Idk

I want to assure anyone who is waiting for their Certificate of Naturalisation that they do not need to renew their immigration permission whilst they await a Certificate

There is no problem, I just asked a question to the person who posted the comment saying that he has been reassured that certs will be issued in 2 weeks. Clearly that question still remains unanswered and the link you posted have already been seen by everyone and it doesn't mention the 2 weeks.

I think they’ll start trickling through next week. I have no basis for this belief other than a stirring in my waters.

Just received an email from citizenship when I asked them to return my travel document so I can travel abroad if there is significant delays in citizenship certs.
The response says
They are outsourced printing to an external agency and that that I ll receive cert in coming weeks . So they have not returned my travel document citing the cert ll be issued soon.
Hope this helps .finger crossed

Yeah. This is the same thing they would have said if you asked a day after your ceremony.
