Indian passport surrender - minor child

Hello All,

I am in the process of surrendering my child's Indian passport at the UK embassy/VFS. I am currently filling up the online form, however unable to progress through the family details page as it is asking for spouse details. In the page earlier to the family details I indicated the child as single, and in the family details page there is no provision for entering spouse details, but still the page asks to enter spouse details and I am unable to progress further.

Appreciate to know if anyone was able to navigate through this issue successfully already.

I am in same boat, I am unable to proceed to next page without filling spouse detail error for my child's surrender certificate application.


Could you please let me know if you managed to find a solution for this?
