It is asking the date you entered and not date of visa vignette!!

Ukvi know the rules and that your visa route qualifying period is from vignette date!

Thankyou and Very much appreciated. I am including scanned pages of all pages of both old and new passport. I believe this its normally expected to include all pages and these documents should be less than 6MB.

Passport covering the period on which the application you are making is based on is what is required.

Thankyou, I will be submitting my application in next 24 hours.

Appreciate your advice on the question related to home office consent.

PART 1: Consent for the Home Office to verify application information

Signed by me being a main applicant

PART 2: Consent for the Home Office to verify third party information

Signed by myself and spouse together as we have join utility and council tax documents are both in our name. (Not the bank account)
child aged 6 years not included

PART 3: Consent for the Home Office to verify information from third party sponsor

Singed only by myself as I am the sponsor NOT any others.

Is the above signatures correct or need any changes ?

Thankyou.

You need two sets of consent form, one for each applicant.
Part 1 is signed by the applicant, part 2 by the spouse and Part 3 is ignored

As always thankyou Zimba. Appreciate your response.

I was under the impression both the main applicant and spouse need to sign Part 2. Is that correct ?

Is it expected for a 6 year old to sign as well at the part 2 if they don't have any address or utility proof in their name ?

As always thanks and appreciate your time.

Should I write separate cover letters for each applicants myself, wife and child for our Set O ILR application
or one single cover letter is sufficient ?

Like other posts i was wrong advised by a known legal member to use UK landing date for ILR and not the Visa Vignette as start date. however due to my dependents visa expiry date i have decided to use visa vignette as start date and mention it in the cover letter. Is it acceptable to mention at the cover letter to be more clear ?

Appreciate your response.

Thanks,
xxx

You don't need a cover letter.

You also don't need to tell ukvi anything. They made rhe rule and know all about the rule.

You are consistently overthinking this whole process.

Thankyou and appreciate your response. I am sorry as this over thinking is because of the tough situation we went through as I have had 2 visa renewals and 2 job switch since then due to redundancies also with no job for over 3 months.

However at each stage I could get the visa filed General to SKW appropriate without touching dependents visa as theirs was full 5 years on the visa since the initial Tier 2 General Dependent visa was issued.

Considering Visa vignette start date of 30th August 2019 I am submitting my ILR application today due to dependents visa expiry on 14th August (let me know if I need to delay here pls). But the question is can I schedule the Biometric date on 10th August 2024 or delay it say 20th August 2024 (latest) considering Date of landing in UK - 28 days ?

Thanks again for every mindful advice throughout and sorry if there is any overthinking here.

Dear All,

Thankyou for all your advice.

I submitted the application today 6th August 2024 and booking the biometric for 10th August (if available).

Please advice if the biometric date needs to be moved to later date or is good to schedule on 10th August (if available).

Thanks,

Hi,

I submitted online the application as on 06/08/2024 and biometric had to be scheduled the latest by 29/08/2024 (after 15 days of dependents visa expiry dated 14th August 2024) due to unavailability of early appointment.

My spouse employer is asking the details to prove the right to work. Other than home office ILR application payment confirmation email and UKVCAS email with biometric date confirmation we have no other details.

May i know these confirmation emails with UAN no is sufficient for employer to continue working till a decision is made on the ILR ?

Thanks.

Since April 2022, even physical BRP cards are NOT an acceptable form of proof of right to work in the UK. An employer must accept a Positive Verification Notice (PVN) obtained via ECS when a migrant cannot prove their status using a share code.

Hi Zimba,

That's a wealth of information.

Until now I was NOT aware of the Employer Checking Service and how without a valid BRP (after expiry) an employer can check the status of immigrant.

My wife sent the UAN and the confirmation to her employer now. Thanks and Appreciate all your advice.

Thanks,
xxx

Hi all,

Based on your advice earlier I kept 2 sets of Home office consent form but i have confusion what should i should i do for a 6 year old child application. Appreciate your response.

Main Applicant :
Part 1 form: Signed by Main applicant
Part 2 form : Signed by Spouse (Dependent Partner applicant)

Dependent Partner Applicant :
Part 1 form: Signed by Dependent Partner applicant
Part 2 form : Signed by Spouse (Main applicant)

Now when it comes to the Child Applicant who is 6 years old, should i also give 2 sets irrespective of a child applicant

Part 1 form: Is it expected for a 6 year old to sign this ?
Part 2 form: Is it expected for the main applicant and Dependent Partner to sign this ?

Kindly advice. Many thanks again.

thanks,
xxx

One parent needs to sign just part 1, on behalf of the child.
