Any B&B or hotel booking conformation docs is required??

hello,

I would like to know if any B&B or hotel booking conformation docs are to be submitted when applying for Tier1(general)visas?

If required pls suggest some B&B or hotel names to book at cheaper rates.. [/b]

A Big NO.
I have not heard of any application for Tier 1 ( general ) which has had issues because they failed to provide the accommodation details.

I had booked @ Newham Hotel through www.booking.com .its cheaper compared to other hotels. that to if you cancel 1 day prior to the arrival date, no fee will be deducted.
actually its not required, but @consulate they are asking for this document as well. so, i had to do.

I had booked for 10 Days . Actually this hotel booking is not needed. Only the VFS people insist for accomodation proof. You can book for 1 week or 10 days. and can cancel it later. Read the cancellation policy before booking.

i booked it for 2 weeks duration starting from march 1st -march 12th..

once again, its not required actually, but VFS will ask for thisdocument
