Naturalisation Approved but Ceremony Invitation Email Not Received

I submitted my naturalisation application on 4th February 2024 and submitted my biometrics on 6th February 2024.

I had still not received a decision after 6 months, so I submitted a complaint to the Home Office on 10 August 2024.

On 26th August 2024, I received the following response:

Our records show that a decision was made on your application on 25 July, and a ceremony invite was sent to you on 31 July. If you did not receive this correspondence, we recommend checking your junk/spam folders, as some email providers can filter our notifications to these areas.

I have checked, and either never received the ceremony invitation email or it went into my spam folder and was deleted.

Is anyone able to advise what I can do?

Have you contacted the Council to check if they have your certificate?

I didn't specifically ask if they have my certificate, but I did ask if it is possible to book and proceed with the ceremony without the invitation email.

I am still waiting for a reply.

I went down to the register office (Lewisham) and spoke to them. They have received the naturalisation certificate, but insisted that they can’t proceed with a ceremony without the invitation email or letter.

I emailed Citizenship.Support@homeoffice.gov.uk several days ago asking if the invitation can be resent, but still haven't received a reply.

Today, I received the invitation from Citizenship.Support@homeoffice.gov.uk. I went straight down to the register office and booked the ceremony for next Tuesday.
