Getting a new CoS while having on-going skilled worker visa application

Hi,

I have an ongoing skilled worker visa application where the decision hasnt been made yet. I got an offer from another company and they want to assign CoS to me. My question is that can the other company assign cos to me while me having an ongoing skilled worker visa application?

Should I withdraw my application before getting a new CoS?
