My wife's application was complex due to 300+ days absence during covid and more than 540 days absence in last 10 years. In the cover letter,we have detailed the reasons for absence and provided documentation to prove that she made all efforts to return to UK as early as possible. One of our child is british citizen, i think that helped her case.
