Error on Certificate of naturalisation

Post by Symulf » Fri Sep 20, 2024 2:10 pm

Hello,

Hope you All are well.

I have just received my Certificate of naturalisation and found out that Place of birth is not totally matched with my current passport.

My Hungarian passport says "Budapest 11" but the Certificate only shows "Budapest"

Has anyone had the same issue? Is it necessary to ask for correction/amendment? Please let me know your thoughts.

Cheers.

Just Budapest is fine.

The number likely refers to a district. Ukvi only do town not additional bits.

Then it is OK. No need to request a correction.
