yeh ur right cuz they will tel u wait full 60 days if u email them so i wud say wait....but u got the emails address now so..im prayn ur is done quickly n u dont wait full 60 days

I can't believe this thread is still running.. I started it like ages ago... lol.

I know exactly how all you people are feeling right now and the feeling is as fresh for me today as it was last year when I was going through the process...(the longest months of my life)

im not going now as my work contract has been extended and hopefully we will hear sumting in the nxt few weeks so i dont need to go........inshahallah we will be wiv our partners soon

@ sammie - hey this thread has been going on for ages, sum still waiting for visas lol. your right it is longeset tym of any 1 life havin go thru this

Hi Everyone,

Ive got some news today...

My husband recvd a phone call saying that his passport is ready to be collected and he needs to come on Monday to collect it. I am so relieved the wait is over. Just praying that its the good news we`re hoping for.

I really didnt think that the BHC would respond to our case that quick especially after reading all your posts and how long u guys have been waiting...

So guys dont lose hope you never know when the BHC are gonna surprise you...lol

Thanks Izzie, yeh im over the noon its been over 2 years since we`ve been applying and this is our 3rd attempt...

im shocked as well i didnt belive it when he said his passport is ready and hes gonna go on monday i thought he was messing bout with me so i checked on the internet just to make sure he wasnt lying lol....

My husband applied on the 18th Nov in Lahore...

Hi

One of the posts above from earlier today says that the VAC confirmed all non-settlement visas have gone to Dubai. That's really confusing as I have received e-mail confirmation from both Islamabad and Abu Dhabi that my husband's application, submitted 30th October 2008, has been sent to Abu Dhabi.

I have e-mailed back to ask what date it was sent on. I just hope that they sent it on in November and didn't sit on it for 2 months until the backlog got too much to manage. My 60 working days are up around 23rd January 2009. I've been painstakingly waiting patiently for weeks but am starting to get serious butterflies because of the suspense around the whole backlog issue.

God willing they are still trying to work to a 12 week timeframe! Good luck to you all.

Yeh 3rd time lucky lol... i think number 3 is my lucky number coz i passed my driving test on my 3rd test so hopefully Inshallah all will be good on Monday i cant wait till Monday i feel anxious and weird

, May Allah fulfill our hopes.

Plz make Dua that we receive good news...as i will make Dua 4u

Naz08: Thanx...I dont understand y theyr taking so long with your case and the cases that have been submitted before ours it culd be that the recently submitted applications get put at the top of the pile therefore those are dealt with first. Whats your MP saying?

Is your case a simple case?

yes it is as simple as it can be lol MP said she will contact UKBAvisa agency and she will let me know. i recieved an email from FCO this morning sayn that my case will be dealt shortly havnt realli got a clue wah dat means but im hopin

naz: told u they might have mislaid ur application. Now that ur husband visited them, he brought his app into their attention. So it is good that at least they have started working on ur application and inshallah u will hear the good news from them soon.

Thanks imi... cant wait till Monday now i want to know whether he`s got it or not...its making me more anxious and i start thinking of the worst...lol

I just hope our wait is over and i will pray for you guys that you hear from the BHC (with good news) very soon...just be patient... good things come to those who wait ( i know its difficult been thru it all)

Hi Naznin,

For what its worth my mother in law applied for her visit visa to UK on 11/11/08 and then my husband applied for his settlement on 18/11/08. My mother in law got her visa on 29/12/08 and now my husband has heard from the BHC on 09/01/09 more or less a week after her the same difference when they first submitted thier application.

You should hear from them soon...keep your hopes up

Hi,

You need to go to this website: http://www.ukvacpk.com/ and if you go right to the bottom it should say Track Your Passport click on that.

If not type in google track my UK visa application and if you click on one of those it should bring up the screen where you can track passport.
