hi guys,

what is the current processing times for WP application.

Does anybody has the latest status of work permit application processing time, which was applied before Tier 2 implementation.

Can you be more clear in ur question...

Are you asking about the time frame including the Advert in newspaper, interviews, make an application for ur WP at HO

OR

Only the time frame for ur WP application at HO after all the advert n interviews?? - this should not take more than 2weeks

this is regarding after all process, application submitted to Home Office UK.

actually there is no time frame for wp...........so please be patient.....

As far as I am aware the time frame will be very short if it is an extension application, or it is a straightforward initial application where no further info is needed. It can be longer if more information is needed or it is the first time the employer has made an application. It can be several months if they send your references to be checked in the country where the work experience is from.

What sort of job is your employer applying for you? Is this their first application? Do you have a degree equivalent to a UK degree?

my employer is not first time applicant. i have all necessary qualification including my masters degree.

as you said timeframe is not defined in case of WP.
