congrats naz... about time they gave u sumthin positive...am v happy and relieved 4u coz uve had a really long wait...inshallah it'll all end positively 4u sis.

@maz: dnt worry inshallah im sure they'll contact ur hubi real soon... jus be patient n hang in there...am praying its a positive outcome 4u n ur partner

Hey izzie Congratz, that is great news. The fone call will follow it up inshallah with a good news. If u don't mind, can i ask where and what date did u apply?

thanx izzie. OMG the vac is moving so slowly. I think the ISL VAC is slower than others. They r taking longer to contact the applicants.

I couldnt agree more. I have experinece with Lahore and Islamabad. With Lahore our case appeared online straight away and got the decision within 3 weeks whereas with Islamabad it took two weeks for our case to appear online and of yet no decision, been a month. I cant comment on Karachi or Mirpur but Islamabad is probably the slowest.

naznin we didnt get no flippin call im getting so sick of this and i hate to whinge but its so unfair that iv waited so long and when finally the website changed on friday, we're back in the waiting game cos they keep telling him theres no way he can get the passport without the call

quick question izzie, does ur status say this:

your app is redy 4 coll;
plz visit the uk vac where
you submitted ur visa app to collect
the same.

cos im jus thinking of sendin him down to the vac with a printout of the status page since they dont wanna bother giving him a call. Jeez 1 min of their time is all it tks to tel sum1 their app cn b collected; i dnt understand why theyd do this to some1!!

my hubi sed he wud ring them today cuz apparently they did contact him on his mobile in da morning but he cudnt hear da guy properly cuz of network probs... he did initially say he wud go down tomorrow and chance it, but i told him they wud probably just refuse to let him in without appointment, so he's guna ring em n see wat dey say and if they'll give him a specific time and date 2 collect...

has ur hubby tried to contact them 2 ask 4 appointment 2 collect?

yh hes been ringing the call centre and the vac directly but theyr all giving it the usual crap...plz wait for a call 2 or 3 days it shud take..etc..were v v busy.. hubi sed the guy he spoke to was pretty decent and he did say u'll be diappointed and will have a wasted journey if u come without a fonecall cos apparently they have a list off ppl theyv contacted..

But im not sure cos i read a post sumwhere ^ up there that someones misses collected their app without a call..
