Got my Tier-I stamped today. They have stamped it with dates which I requested i.e from 10/3/09 to 09/03/2012

Timelines
Applied: 12/12/08
Visa stamped:12/01/09
Integra: NA

All documents have been returned back (incl bank statements/letters etc.)

I have applied on 29th Dec 2008 from VFS Hyderabad.
Status: Forwarded to BHC.
BHC Chennai phone number : +44-42192308.
When I called yesterday they are saying it is in queue and not giving any more details.

Quite honestly has anyone been succesful in calling BHC Mumbai
Its is strange but it is always engaged

The calling times are 1:30 pm to 4pm and the phone is engaged from 1:25 pm itself almost continuosly.

I spent 1 hour continuosly redialling as I heard the engaged tone but with no success. Do they just keep the reciever aside or what

and the other number 02266502222, they dont take VISA enquiries, they just cut the line even without talking

I wonder whats happening here...

Guys I have real problem on my hands now.

I had e-mailed the BHC to know the status of my application. I had given them the application reference number given by VFS

This is what I got as a reply

Dear Sir

This is with regards to your email below.

Unfortunately, given the details you have submitted I am unable to link this with any applications dealt with by this office.

If you have a reference number or any other information relating to this case, which may assist in tracing the application, then please return your letter with these details. I am returning your correspondence for reference.

I am sorry that I can not be of any further assistance at this time.

I think the BHC would stamp it a max of three months ahead from the date of stamping/approval.

I assume it is not related to date of submission of application

I tried to submit the post earlier, but after submission, I got connection error for 5/6 times. So I though that my message is not posted. But when I checked later, it seems all my messages were posted. Hence you can see my lots of posts.

Not much of a comfort situation for me...

This morning I had been to VFS . As I had recieved the mail from BHC mumbai that they are not able to find my documents, I just wanted to confirm from the VFS whats happening.

VFS people were ignorant and told me verbally, they cant do anything at this situation. I had to literally lose my calm and shout at them. Then the guy went inside, called VFS mumbai. He then told that VFS mumbai will call BHC and confirm.

After a while he came out and said, that my application is with BHC and verfying is being done. He then cut the sentence half and old it is being delayed as lot oof backlogs are there. He told me another 10-15 days.

I am really concerned what the truth is now.
And if they are verifying, does mean, my application will be rejected..
